Background: Hannah was born on March 11 to Lela and Milton Bridges. The early days of her childhood were very happy. Six years later, Lela became pregant with a second child, and Hannah was excited to have another brother or sister. Complications during childbrith caused Lela to have an aneurism, and she died shortly after the baby boy was born. Milton named him August, after the month. Depressed about his wife's death, Milton gradually became distant and lapsed into alchoholism. Hannah, since the age of seven, began caring for her younger brother. Though she tried her hardest, August ran away when he was twelve. Hannah's desperate attempts to find him were futile, and she was forced to give up within a year, although she did receive one letter form him, which she cherishes.
Because of her position as the 'mother' of her only sibling, Hannah got her a beauty liscense and worked for her best friend, Donna Anthony, at a hair and nail salon. During this time she was heavily dependant on both her friend and her boyfriend, Steve for support. She was no longer living with her father, and had become increasingly worrysome about her little brother, feeling as if she had 'failed him.' Shortly after her twentyfirst birthday, Steve broke up with her, and her state slowly declined.
Before signing herself into Cherry Hollow, Hannah was said to have had an 'emotional breakdown' at work, and when she went home she cut off her hair.
She arrives at Cherry Hollow with short, choppy hair, no fingernails, and a bandage on her left wrist in July, 2005.
Personality: When she is relaxed, Hannah is a very normal person. She enjoys coffee, idle chatter, and designing things. She likes to watch movies or read books, and typically keeps to herself. When intimidated, she often takes a deffensive body position, and is unable to look directly into the eyes of who is talking to her.
